Skit 1の続き。大学の学位を取り続けることへの執着を52歳になっても続けているという状況を描く。「周りが稼いでいる中で、俺は自分のお金を使って賢くなっている」「死ぬ時に温めてくれるのは学位だ」というオチが、学歴崇拝の滑稽な末路を描く。

お前は続けろ、本を読み続けろ

You pick up all those books that you're gonna read and not remember and you roll, man

読んでも覚えられない本を全部拾い上げて、続けろ

You get that associate's degree, okay?

準学士を取れ、いいか？

Then you get your bachelor's

次に学士を取れ

Then you get your masters

次に修士を取れ

Then you get your masters' masters

次に修士の修士を取れ

Then you get your doctorate

次に博士を取れ

You go, man

行け、頑張れ

And then, when everybody says quit, you show them those degrees, man

そして皆が「やめろ」と言ったら、学位を見せてやれ

When everyone says, "Hey, you're not working, you're not making any money"

「お前は働いてない、お金を稼いでいない」と言われたら

You say, "You look at my degrees, and you look at my life

「俺の学位を見ろ、俺の人生を見ろ

Yeah, I'm fifty-two, so what?

Hate all you want, but I'm smart, I'm so smart
